Pricing
Per device. Never per channel.
One licence covers one device — unlimited walls, layouts, inputs and outputs, and channels are never metered. Each concurrent running instance is its own licensed device. Every licence starts with a 60-day, full-function evaluation on your own hardware.
Billed yearly. Includes updates and your tier's support while active.
Desktop Core & Ryzen, Apple silicon, GeForce / Radeon RX. The OB cart, the studio PC, the lab machine.
- Everything — no feature gates; channels never metered
- Up to two consumer GPUs; expansion packs add more
- Docs, community and best-effort email — no SLA
- 60-day, full-function evaluation on your hardware
Server CPUs, pro GPUs, codec cards, SDI / ST 2110 I/O. The machine room, the truck, master control.
- Everything in Studio, for commercial-grade machines
- Up to two GPUs of any class; expansion packs add more
- Priority support — next-business-day email, AEST hours
- Documented offline activation for air-gapped sites
- 60-day, full-function evaluation on your hardware
After perpetual year one, updates and support are optional at 20% of perpetual per year — $299 Studio · $1,490 Broadcast. Your licence and your wall keep working either way.
Non-commercial use is free, on a licence that's auto-issued on first launch. Personal, home, hobby and learning use — a compliant licence carries no watermark, and the source is yours to read. Defined free exceptions cover First Nations Owned Broadcasters, small Community Broadcasters and smaller Content Creators. Start at conspect.dev.
Trying it commercially? Every licence starts with a 60-day, full-function evaluation on your own hardware — and the Lookout appliance's full build spec is published as a free reference design: build the box yourself and buy a Studio licence.
Education: 40% off Studio, self-serve. Founding commercial customers keep today's list price forever as list rises.
Which licence?
Four bright lines. If any one is true, it's Broadcast.
No audits, no ambiguity — the hardware class of the machine decides. Everything else is Studio.
| Trigger | Broadcast when the device has… | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Workstation / server-class silicon — registered-ECC support or more than two memory channels | Xeon, EPYC, Threadripper PRO, ARM server |
| GPU | Any professional / workstation / data-centre GPU | RTX PRO / Quadro, Radeon PRO / Instinct, Arc Pro / Flex |
| Codec hardware | Any dedicated encode / decode card | NETINT Quadra, AMD MA35D, Socionext |
| Video I/O | Any SDI / HDMI / ST 2110 capture-or-playout device used by the engine | DeckLink, AJA, Deltacast, Magewell, Bluefish444 |
Desktop Core & Ryzen, Apple silicon, GeForce, Radeon RX and consumer Arc are all Studio. Apple silicon stays Studio unless I/O hardware is attached.

Evaluate before you buy
Try Conspect on your actual hardware first. We insist.
Every licence starts with a 60-day, full-function evaluation, and the source is available to read. Buying a licence licenses the software; it doesn't upgrade your computer. Capacity is a property of your hardware, your sources and your codecs — the evaluation exists so it's measured, not hoped for.
If you'd rather have guaranteed numbers, buy a Conspect appliance — we publish the capacities we test, and we stand behind them.
Order forms carry one attestation: “I have evaluated Conspect on the intended hardware, or I accept responsibility for capacity on untested hardware.”
Beyond the licence
When you need more than email.
Support entitlements are written to what we can actually deliver: Studio gets docs, community and best-effort email; Broadcast gets next-business-day email (AEST). No phone, no 24/7, no uptime SLA — at any price. Those are promises we couldn't keep, so we don't make them. When you need hands-on help, it's a service, priced as one:
| Service | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Remote commissioning day | $1,800 | Scheduled. The standard appliance add-on. |
| Incident pack — 5 credits | $2,400 | Pre-paid, 12-month expiry. |
| Facility Care retainer | $9,500 / yr | Quarterly health checks, 4 incident credits, upgrade window. |
| Custom feature development | from $15,000 | Scoped and scheduled, 50% up front. |
Sixty days, every feature, on your hardware. Decide once you've seen it run.
